Williams's decorative, jewel-toned illustrations are competent and engaging, but fail to express the drama and excitement of Aladdin's adventures. Eric A. Kimmel's The Tale of Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp (Holiday House, 1992) is an appealing picture-book retelling. Marianna Mayer's striking version (S & S, 1985), illustrated by Gerald McDermott, focuses on Aladdin's attempts to win the princess. Unfortunately, Pullman neglects to discuss specific sources or the tale's controversial origins, and much of the treatment, particularly the minaret- and camel-laden settings in Williams' artwork, stands in opposition to Pullman's introductory remarks that locate Aladdin in China. I found a collection of practical ideas on how to manage time daily. Le temps perdu ne se rattrape jamais. Thus, one cannot afford to waste time. If one values time, this is a book one must read and applied. I recommend it highly.

I purchased this book for a project I did in a training class. I was conducting a training on time management. I ordered multiple books, and this is the book I choose to model my training off of. This book was set up well with a good flow which made it a quick airplane read for me. I recommend this book, but agree with others... don't make it the only book you read on time management if you're really interested in the subject.

This book has helped me work on some of my time management issues. Some of it is a little weak, but over all it's worth the read.

This books contains just normal common sense things, you can just google it and find it on any of the "How-To" website and thats everything you will need. There is nothing new here.

If you're too busy (or disorganized) to even read a time management book this is for you.I got so much out of one early idea: For every task, you can Do, Defer, Delegate or Dump.Simply having that much clarity as I handle a piece of paper or contemplate a task had madea big difference. "Sand" reveals Max's cruelty as a young boy—he tries to bury his younger brother alive—while "Family" shows the two brothers meeting again as adults, with the balance of power between them shifting dramatically. Another character, Vic, is central to the book: he appears as an awkward adolescent fixated on unattainable older girls, as a young man coping with the legacy of his father's alcoholism and abandonment, and as a middle-aged man unable to come to terms with his past.
